Spring 2019 Recycling Awareness

On Friday, January 11, during the Dean of students’ new students Spring 2019 orientation, Facilities Management raised awareness about LAU’s recycling initiative.

The goal of the presentation was to get students acquainted with LAU and inform them about their responsibilities and engagement in this initiative through recycling, not only for an environmental cause but also for a humanitarian one. FM also introduced LAU’s partnership with Association l’Écoute.

The presentation highlighted:
- Recycling streams
- Locations of the bins on campus
- Info about “Do’s and Don’ts”
- Tips about paper recycling
- Proper segregation of waste

The team also actively participated in the cafeteria to acquaint our new students with more information on recycling tips and to recruit volunteers for future awareness campaigns.
