LAU operates on the scale of a small city. Our Byblos and Beirut campuses own and maintain the infrastructure needed to produce and deliver utility services to campus buildings and grounds, including central power plants, district cooling and heating plants, water and waste water plants, and firefighting plants.

Our Physical Plant team of engineers, operators, technicians, and administrative staff serves the campus 24/7.
