Civil Engineering Apprenticeship

An 8 weeks internship is being offered for our Civil Engineering students by LAU’s Facilities Management. A placement that goes beyond the standard summer training, it was tailored as a special educational program to prepare students for a successful transition to a challenging and rewarding career. Students will be learning the basic knowledge of engineering fundamentals evolving around Renovation and Building Construction.

Our own Nabil Bedran, Senior Director of Capital Construction Management, instructs the students and covers a range of topics, from site safety and accidents prevention, to materials and bill of quantities, to ADA and cost estimations, and etc; including site visits to Gezairi Building, Gulbenkian Amphitheater, Adnan Kassar School of Business, and Cafeteria in Wadad Sabbagh Khoury Student Center as part of our construction and renovation projects.
