Giving is Caring

In our continuous efforts to sustain our community at large, LAU keeps on striving to give back and make a difference, no matter how small, in these challenging circumstances and time of crisis. LAU’s mission has always been a statement of tolerance and community outreach.

At times when everyone is fighting to make ends meet, we opted to give away some of our furniture and ease up some of the burden on those struggling the most. LAU’s Facilities Management, in collaboration with the Supply Office and the support of the administration, donated Orme-Gray’s dormitory furniture to local NGOs. The furniture varied in nature and was mostly comprised of beds, mattresses, closets, desks and chairs.

Lebanese NGOs have been working relentlessly to help the most vulnerable as well as our compatriots directly affected by the late unfortunate port’s blast. We salute them and bow in respect to all their efforts, specifically:
