Frem Civic Center

The Frem Civic Center is a state-of-the-art structure with a beautiful front yard landscaping. Its design exhibits the character, culture and vibrancy of the institution and its founding city. The interior of the building is conceived as a vehicle to foster collaboration and cross-disciplinary dialogue among different departments with its multi-purpose hall, meeting rooms and seminar rooms, where impromptu and planned meetings, student gatherings, lectures, and intellectual debates can be held.

Building History

Prior to housing offices for the School of Business, the University Enterprise Office and Outreach and Civic Engagement Department in addition to other LAU centers and institutes, and up till 2014, it was the temporary home of the LAU Clinical Simulation Center used by all health education majors.
